Review: Bourjois Velvet

Hey you beautiful lot. Today I will be doing one of my favourite things and that is of course a cheeky review. I'll be having a natter about Bourjois's Rogue Edition Velvet in colour Don't pink of it number 10.

So lets get down to business. Usually with matte lipsticks they can be quite heavy on your lips but of course as the name suggests it's extremely velvety and creamy. It doesn't just dry out making you end up looking like one of Kylie Jenner's extremely matte cars. I can't say enough how long lasting, bold and rich this product is. I also really love how simple but effect the bottle is, I may be easily pleased but the packaging is really elegant and rich looking. If I'm honest I can't really praise this enough and I genuinely can't wait to get my hands on the other 11 colours.

If I had to give you one not so good thing about this product would probably have to be the smell. It's not a problem at all but it is a little odd. I definitely wouldn't let that put you off though as I does go as soon as it's applied. Price wise; it was nine pound which is few bob more than your Maybelline or Rimmel but on the other hand a hell of a lot cheaper than your Lime Crimes or Mac's so price wise I'd say it was pretty middle of the range. Finally when applying I would suggest to use your finger to get a softer look.

I hope this helps you guys. Go and get your velvet on  below and I will see you on Thursday.

That 70's Show

Take the 70's Autumn trend for a spin with this vintage inspired dress/shirt from would you believe it...F&F. I've said it and I'll say it again; F&F are far too under rated and their Autumn/Winter collection is honestly great. I'm a massive autumn girl so I'm over the moon that dark autumn colours are back in town. As we all know the 70's are back and this beautiful tan suedette dress hits that right on the head. I love the classic chic silhouette added with the belt keeps it versitle and really flattering.

The thing with suede is that it's not just a fabric; the texture and versatility makes it an absolute statement. Teamed with a pair of knee high suedette boots you are sent straight back to the 70's. Matching this with a pair of dark coloured flares would look so awesome too so check out the links below and get styling. Hooray for autumn.

Pushing past the pain

Hey guys, so I haven't done an anxiety post in a while so today is the day. It's not a depressing one just a few tips and an update on my 'journey'. If you suffer with anxiety, depression, panic attacks or agoraphobia then you know it's always on your mind; trying to work around it and avoid certain places or people. I'm the main advertisement for that situation until about three weeks ago when I realised I need to feel shit to get better. Let me explain; lets say I decided to go somewhere that made me feel safe...great, I've got out the house and that is an achievement in itself but what did I actually achieve? I wasn't nervous, I felt safe, I didn't feel uncomfortable so how has that really helped me? Honestly, it probably didn't. Over the last three weeks I have been determined to step out of my comfort zone and do something that scares me everyday. I'm not talking about jumping out of a plane or climbing a mountain but going on that walk that panics you or going back to that place you had a panic attack. Don't make excuses anymore and just do it. The more you put yourself in uncomfortable situations the quicker your anxiety will do one. You have to accept that the situation your scared of will scare you but once you've done it you will feel bloody amazing. Push past the pain.

I love receiving your emails and helping or answering questions so please don't hesitate and get in contact the icons on your right. Just remember, it's all about consistency.

Wolford Collaboration

Wolford clothing is a favourite with celebrities such as Rihanna, Heidi Klum and the Kardashian sisters and it's understandable why when you see their luxurious brand of hosiery, tights, bodysuits, lingerie, underwear, shapewear and innovative clothing.

I was lucky enough to be sent one of their beautiful pieces and I'm finding it very hard to find a bad word to say about this incredible dress. If you follow me you know I'm not super body confident but with the shape wear and seamless technology brought into this dress it really gave me a whole new love for my curves. I absolutely love the cut and colour as it's super versatile and can be both a great Summer or Autumn piece depending on what you dress it with. The thick Nylon/Elastic material makes this piece oober comfortable and is a sure fire way of sucklng you in and smoothing out your curves or annoying lumbs and bumps.

Wolford pieces are very pricey but they are awesome quality that will last you a very long time. Their pieces are feminine, classy and effortless; there's not much more you could ask for. They are 100% worth the investment and I can't wait to see how they carry out growing. Check out their store below, I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

Big thank you to Kerri and Heather for this beauty.

Floral Dream

There's nothing better than a brand new bottle of perfume to brighten your day but sometimes you don't have to go super high end to get your daily spritz. Don't get me wrong I have a draw full of Calvin Klein, Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobs and Chanel but saying that I am a massive sucker 'cheap' perfume. A lot of people tend to stear away from cheap perfume because it's cheap but there are so many cheaper perfumes out there that are far too under rated. Next are one example that absolutely smash leading perfume retailers with their fragrances.

As you can see I'm talking about Adidas perfume...yes Adidas do perfume and it smells amazing. While on holiday a few years ago I came across this perfume. I mainly tried it as I was curious of the smell as Adidas is obviously a sports brand so if I'm honest I wasn't expecting much. I was very much mistaken. If you follow me you know I'm a massive fan of Bergamot and funnily enough Bergamot is in this perfume which makes it a really relaxing and fresh fragrant. The top note you get with this perfume is definitely Bergamot but you also get beautiful notes of rose, lily and a base of vanilla. Not only is this a great smell but it honestly lasts all day, it's awesome perfume to carry around with you all day and you can't go wrong with a 75ml bottle for only a tenner. Go and check it out and don't be afraid to not spend tonnes of money.

Motel Rocks in Marbella

So FINALLY at long last, I'm back (Celebration emoji). It's been a shitty couple of months but I'm ready to get back straight back into the blogging jobby so let's get started. Sadly I'm not in Marbella anymore but I thought I'd bring some sunshine into our Monday afternoon.

There's nothing like a pretty summer dress and in my mind no one does it better than Motel Rocks. Their edgy and stylish designs speak volumes and definitely don't need dressing up much. A floaty floral dress is timeless and always great for summer and dressing up for an evening. I have a few Motel Rocks dresses with a similar cut with a loose fitted waist; I'm the first to admit that this shape isn't the best for my shape as it does just drop down from your boobs and will make you look bigger than you are but if you don't really care like me then it doesn't matter. There's nothing worse than a clingy, thick fabric dress in the summer and Motel definitely offer an incredible range of beautiful silky/slinky patterned dresses to keep you cool.

If you aren't one for accessorising then a bold floral summer dress is the one for you as you can just let the dress do the talking. Teamed with a cute pair of gladiator sandals, mirrored sunglasses and tassled handbag you have a perfect and very easy all day summer look. Don't be affaid to stand out and be comfortable. Head over to Motel now and check out what you like here

I'm so happy to be back speaking to you beautiful people, we have some exiting collaborations coming up so keep your eyes peel. Remember I'm happy to answer any questions about fashion, life and beauty so just drop a line below or give me a search on Instagram etc with the icons on your right. I hope you have a beautiful Monday evening.
