Essential Wednesday

What can I say about an easy Wednesday look other than it's easy. It's so simple to create a causal but sleek outfit with an oversized jumper, ripped Jeans and lace up heels. Heels can really pull a causal outfit together especially if your wearing super ripped Jeans which can look messy. This slouchy knit jumper is perfect for this season and isn't too thick so your easily able to team it with anything else. These pieces are simple staples to have in your wardrobe as they are so versitle which means you will have never ending fun with styling them. Sometimes it's great to keep it simple. Enjoy the rest of your week my lovers.

Nudes

Camel colours are always awesome for autumn and is such an easy colour to dress up or down. I went all out with the different shades of camel which makes a really neutral but strong outfit. Firstly I have to start with this beautiful suede skirt from River Island; when I saw this I expected it to be really stiff, thick suede but its surprisingly thin and stretchy which obviously, makes it really comfortable. I teamed it with this ribbed turtle neck top; this top is perfect to make any outfit pop this season especially with the high neck which is a lot hotter than the weather right now.

This furry textured jacket/coat is one of my favourite purchases this Autumn/Winter. It was an absolute steal at only 25 quid from Primark and was totally worth it. Not only do I love the colour as it's so chic and classy but the short fur makes it a bit more edgy and fun. The tailored jacket keeps it super flattering and really easy for it to be part of your outfit and not a separate piece that is just being used to keep warm.

Finally we have these killer heels from Boohoo. It may not be sandal season but I really couldn't resist them. I mean just look at how beautiful they are. The lace up to above the ankles makes these incredibly easy to walk in as your feet are supported 100%. I'm not saying you could run a marathon in them but they are probably the most comfortable heels I own. Go and have a sneak peak at Boohoo's new season because it is looking awesome. Forever Retro

Retro clothing is one of the key pieces in my wardrobe right now from oversized shirts to boyfriend jeans which makes it suoer easy to create a casual outfit but today I styled a more smarter retro outfit. With an oversized shirt, fedora had, chocker necklace and pencil leg trousers you have a simple and easy smart retro look. When styling an oversized shirt that will be the base to your outfit so if you are wearing a loud print shirt then loads of accessories aren't necessary. Retro clothing is a great way of expressing yourself so don't be afraid to try something different. There are so many retro clothing stores out there so check out my favourites below. Keep it edgy ladies and gents.

Review: Bourjois Velvet

Hey you beautiful lot. Today I will be doing one of my favourite things and that is of course a cheeky review. I'll be having a natter about Bourjois's Rogue Edition Velvet in colour Don't pink of it number 10.

So lets get down to business. Usually with matte lipsticks they can be quite heavy on your lips but of course as the name suggests it's extremely velvety and creamy. It doesn't just dry out making you end up looking like one of Kylie Jenner's extremely matte cars. I can't say enough how long lasting, bold and rich this product is. I also really love how simple but effect the bottle is, I may be easily pleased but the packaging is really elegant and rich looking. If I'm honest I can't really praise this enough and I genuinely can't wait to get my hands on the other 11 colours.

If I had to give you one not so good thing about this product would probably have to be the smell. It's not a problem at all but it is a little odd. I definitely wouldn't let that put you off though as I does go as soon as it's applied. Price wise; it was nine pound which is few bob more than your Maybelline or Rimmel but on the other hand a hell of a lot cheaper than your Lime Crimes or Mac's so price wise I'd say it was pretty middle of the range. Finally when applying I would suggest to use your finger to get a softer look.

I hope this helps you guys. Go and get your velvet on  below and I will see you on Thursday.

That 70's Show

Take the 70's Autumn trend for a spin with this vintage inspired dress/shirt from would you believe it...F&F. I've said it and I'll say it again; F&F are far too under rated and their Autumn/Winter collection is honestly great. I'm a massive autumn girl so I'm over the moon that dark autumn colours are back in town. As we all know the 70's are back and this beautiful tan suedette dress hits that right on the head. I love the classic chic silhouette added with the belt keeps it versitle and really flattering.

The thing with suede is that it's not just a fabric; the texture and versatility makes it an absolute statement. Teamed with a pair of knee high suedette boots you are sent straight back to the 70's. Matching this with a pair of dark coloured flares would look so awesome too so check out the links below and get styling. Hooray for autumn.
