Glitter Glamour

If you know me then you know that this is my favourite time of year and I'm a big kid when it comes to Christmas so of course I'm feeling very festive. For those that aren't as giddy as I am, I've chosen some key glitter picks that we all need on the lead up to Christmas. Whether be a Christmas party, works do or even Christmas day I have the perfect picks for you. Glitter clothing is super on trend right now along with metallics and at this time of year you really can't go wrong..well you could; it's all about balancing out that shine and not going too over the top. A LBD (little black dress) with a pair of glitter shoes and understated glitter clutch you have a winner but with glitter jewellery, nails and or dress then your just going to look like a cheap disco ball. Just remember you want to make a statement but be sensible about it, you don't want to be remembered for looking like you've just been dragged off stage with the ugly sister's.

Each of these items are a fashion statement on their own..I REPEAT, ON THEIR OWN! Please please don't wear them all together! ;) My fave has to be the black dress as it would be perfect for dressing up and down with a pair of knee high boots or cute heeled sandals. But my real reason for this being my favourite is that I could wear this on Christmas day, eat and much as I liked and still looked fabulous because this dress ain't showing off no lumps or bumps ;).

So shop like the stars and check out all the deets on these must haves with the links below and make sure to share this post with your cheeky buttons on the left. Also I love to hear what you think so please get in touch with your thoughts and I will get back to you.

All my love,
Over and out.

Black Friday Bargains

Happy Black Friday everyone. I hope your all enjoying some cheeky deals. It would of course be rude to not show you my favourite bargains so here we go. Urban Outfitters is one of my favourite stores as I love love love quirky vintage gear but I do find the pricing a bit steep sooo today is the best day to head over to UO.
My first Black Friday must have is this absolutely stunning gothic floral mesh skirt. Admittedly this isn't the skirt to cover up with but it is certainly a statement piece which is what we all need in our wardrobe. Not only is this beautiful but there is no complaints with the price as it is now only a tenner down from 45!
My golden rules with a high waisted skirt is to never go for a top that goes over the top of the the skirt and if it does tuck tuck tuck it in! Ok so I found this flippin' Awesome *pause for effect* Ninja Turtles top :O and I think it's amazing with a capital A! Now some of you might not agree that the top and skirt go together but I love the retro twist and teamed with a pair of chunky platform boots this outfit will be getting you all the right attention. This is perfect for dressing up and down and now only £16. Winning!
To Top this wacky outfit off and what every vintage look needs is a chocker necklace. If I'm honest you can't really go wrong with a choker; it really adds that 90's feel and is a steal at just 7 quid. Check out all these bargains and more at Urban Outfitters Uk

Have a lovely black fridays my darlings.

TREND ALERT//SPRING 2015

Flower power is back and it's bigger amd better than ever. I'm getting slightly ahead of myself with my fashion trend alert as it being for spring/summer but I don't care as Cheryl Cole would say ;) Ditsy small flower prints are out and big, bold and brash flowers are in as you can see with Marni and Miu Miu designs below.
Let's be honest florals at spring will never be out but year after year these blossoms get bigger and bigger and are perfect for colour clashing. I might be a long wait for these stunning prints over this cold winter but soon we'll be craving these beautiful prints.
Get your florals before Spring and jump on board with next year's trend. These babies can be snapped up on the highstreet so forget winter blues and whip out your spring florals.
Big floral prints are perfect to get from vintage shops as they aren't as expensive but look awesomely retro. Check out Beyond Retro and Phix .
I hope this warmed you beauties up a bit and please do comment below as I love hearing from you all.

Bloomin' Awesome Boohoo Buys

Hello beautiful readers,
I have to apologise for not showing my fave recently (although some of you may be quite pleased by that ;)) but my anxiety has been a bit pants recently so haven't really felt like smiling for a camera, away that's another post for another day.

Boohoo have seriously been on top recently with their fashion game so of course I couldn't help myself when I saw these babies. Coming up to Christmas of course money is a bit tight so I went straight for the clearance which I don't usual do but I was pleasantly surprised when I found these cheeky buys.

Not only are these perfect winter warmers but they are all no more than £15 *Bargain Alert*. The faux fur gillet is such a fashion statement and teamed with these leather leggings which are so comfortable and much easier to get on than leather trouser (none of us want a leather trouser incident like Ross from friends ;)). Also they aren't super super leather looking so they don't show up all your lumps and bumps.

To pull this look together I bought an oversized checked shirt which you can never go wrong with and some cuff rings. I also made sure that the gilet I bought was slightly cropped so I didn't get too drowned in material so keep that in mind if you want to show of them killer curves or inhance them. Finally I've never really been a big fan of rings as I have chubby fingers but these rings are really flattering if it's possible to make your hands look flattering hehe.

Go and check boohoo out whether it be to treat yourself before Christmas or for bargain Christmas buys take a look, I think you'll be surprised.

Slendertoxtea: My experience

If your following me on Instagram (which you should be ;)) then you will know that I have started using Slendertoxtea. Today is day 4 and I have to say I'm really loving it. I've always struggled with weight and three years ago I lost three stone but as we all know the last bit of weight is the hardest to get rid of so I've been trying a lot of things.
Sadly I'm not a stone lighter but I am waking up feeling a lot more energized and fresh which is what we all want in the morning. I was a bit concerned that I might have to set up camp in the bathroom but I only have to go to the toilet once more than I usually do so it's not as lethal as I expected.
Of course this isn't going to make you shed stone after stone but along with healthy eating, this product is really helpful and heathly. I would really recommend it to anyone that is trying to shift them last few pounds.

With love,

Alternative buys

Hello all my beautiful readers. If you hadn't noticed, yesterday was my first day off from blogging since Stylish Sunrise started and it felt so weird. I get so caught up in blogging I was a bit lost today without you guys! Anyway in today's post I will be reviewing Liz Earles and Niveas Cleansers and toners to really find out if high priced products are really winners over cheaper products..So, let's get started.

As we all know Liz Earles skincare products are quiet high end products but as they are expensive they, of course, were calling my name and I had to try them. I used the cleanser and polish first which smells so beautiful and relaxing and then the instant boost which made my skin come alive. Personally I found the cleanser a bit too heavy on my skin but after using the boost it certainly lifted my skin. Both of these products used together are really soothing on the skin and takes your make up off really gently at the end of a long day. I do suffer with the odd break out and have very sensitive skin but these products really reacted well with my skin, it looked and felt a lot fresher and I would certainly recommend them if your willing to pay a minimum of £13 for each bottle.

Nivea toner and cleanser are my go to products and I do try to use them every day as they are a real bargain at the start price of £3.15 each bottle. Like I said with the Previous products I really love the boosting toner and as it's so refreshing, makes my skin feel so clean with a tingling boost. Personally on my budget I would have to go for Nivea every time but of course Liz Earles products are great to keep in your draws for a bit longer.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Mixmatchme

Today's post is a little different but I have to share this with all of you as I'm obsessed.
Ok so Mixmatchme gives you the chance to go online shopping and try your outfits on models. We all have that disappointing moment when we order something and it doesn't bit mixmatchme completely eliminates that problem.

Mixmatchme not only offer high street fashion like Miss Selfridge and Asos but they keep you updated with the latest trends and what's hot to buy which I really love.
Putting together outfits is quick, easy and so much. Basically it does what it says on the tin. Another really great thing about this website is that it keeps track of how much you would spend if you were to buy the outfit which means you don't get a nasty surprise at the check out.
Finally you can save all the garments you've put together on your model in your wardrobe which is really accessible and simple if you just want to by the coat and the jeans you matched and you don't have to be a computer whizz to understand what's going on.

This website has really changed the way I shop online, go and check it out.

The little white bottle

So yesterday I got my hands on on this St. Moriz instant self tan mousse and I have to say it's amazing! Like I've said before I'm very pale and use self tan a lot while trying not to look like an Umpa Lump. Of course we all hate to look orange, streaky or end up having brown sheets and I must confess this is the answer.

This is the first mousse tan I've ever used and I can't believe I've never used it before as it's so easy and simple to apply. This tan doesn't have a funny smell and is perfect for this time of year when we feel horribly pale but still want a subtle healthy glow.
I chose to use Medium and it was the best tone for me. I Would really recommend this Self tanning mousse. Such a great buy.

Fake tan top tips:

PREPARATION is key. Make sure you try to moisturise everyday and before tanning get exfoliating to get rid of any dead skin.

Maybe slightly obvious but make sure to use GLOVES. There is nothing worse than having dirty tanned nails so you've taken your gloves off apply a small amount of tan to a cotton pad and tan the back of your hands.

Dab VASELINE on your hair line and eyebrows so you don't end up with ginger tan dyed hair.

Thanks for reading my darlings,

The battle of anxiety

So I know this post will get compared to the lovely Zoella's posts but no two cases of anxiety are the same. We are all programmed different and I would like to share my story with you all. This post is extremely hard for me and I would love to say I was at the same stage as Zoella in my life in overcoming anxiety but in reality I'm not. I'm not looking to bore or depress anyone but hopefully help and educate some on anxiety and panic attacks. It happens a lot more than you all think.
In Great Britain alone 1 in 10 people are likely to have a ‘disabling anxiety disorder'. That seems like a pretty big number when not many people are fully aware of this crippling illness.
Ive always been an extremely anxious person since I can remember, I never wanted to stay at friends houses and not even families houses. Still to this day I can't sleep in someone else's house without having a panic attack and I'm 20 years old next year.
I had my first panic attack at the age of 13 and it was the most petrifying thing I've experienced. I was in class after missing a lot of school and all of I sudden I had this wave of heat, I'd start sweating thinking I was going to be sick and needing the toilet. I ended up feeling like I lived in them toilets but I had no idea what was going on. I'd come back to class and people would laugh at me and stare, point fingers and act like I'd just walked in with a massive chicken on my head. After that I hated school, I lost friends, lost confidence, put on a lot of weight and got really bullied because I didn't go to school. In the end I left at the 14 maybe 15 and got home schooled. This made me very secluded and I started to become increasingly more depressed. Not depressed in the term that 'oh eastenders isn't on, I'm so depressed' in the way that I didn't want to leave my bed or even the house, I would comfort eat and only felt safe in one place and that was home. I didn't see friends, I didn't go to parties, I didn't leave the house. I had no wish to leave the house. But how could a 14 year old ever understand anxiety? I didn't my parents didn't and my friends certainly didnt. That doesn't seem right to me.
After years of struggling and only getting 3 GCSE's I went on to do an Art and design course to persure my love of fashion, I didn't have enough GCSE's to get to Level 3 fashion so I had to do Level 2 Art and design. Suddenly I felt this weight lift of my shoulders. This was my fresh start, no one knew me, no would could point and say that's the girl that never went to school. I could truly be myself. That year made me so strong and my anxiety completely drifted away.
A year later I started Level 3 fashion and I was in my element, I loved everything it intialed from dress making to styling to photography and for another year I completely forgot what anxiety even was. But then the third year of college hit me like a tonne of bricks. My panic attacks were back and worse than ever. Again like school I would miss days and days of college but luckily this time I had a strong friend group, don't get me wrong it was still really tough and not even they or my family know the extent to what I've gone through (well they will know). When going back to college I started to get the worst panic attacks I've ever experienced, the most scariest thing is you don't know what to do, you don't know where to go and you think everyone is staring and laughing at you.
I was back in the toilets again feeling I was going to pass out, shaking, sweating, thinking I was going to throw up, not being able to breath and needing the toilet but why? Nothing bad had happened, I wasn't in danger, I was safe. Panic attacks can happen for no reason or it can be triggered by a fear or bad past experience. So every time I had a panic attack at college my brain marked it as a dangerous place and gears me up for a fight which is when the attack happens. Like if you were in th jungle and saw a tiger your adrenaline kicks in, your digestive system shuts down and gears you up to fight this tiger..but im not in the jungle I'm in college, surely my brain can realise that?
Your brain is a very clever thing (duh obviously) but it has its fault when it comes to anxiety. Each time I have a panic attack in one place I don't want to go back there just in case it might happen again. Since this summer due to a lot of panic attacks I'm scared to leave the house, scared to see my friends, scared to do anything just incase I might have a panic attack. 'JUST INCASE' and 'MIGHT' these three words are destroying my life and guess what I just might not have a panic attack but anxiety makes you think the worst.
Mental illness is such a taboo subject..but why? About a quarter of the population will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year, with mixed anxiety and depression the most common mental disorder in Britain. But we still don't talk about it? We keep it hidden away like it's a bad thing. But it isn't. People need to be educated about these things, children need to know about mental health and not to be scared of that word 'Mental'. I know if I was taught about it, it would have helped me understand myself and not be labelled as 'Mental'.
Whether you understand it or not, whether your going through it or not we need to stand together and beat these issues that so many of us suffering with. Even if this has just helped on person to realise they aren't the only one then I will be extremely happy. Moving forward with anxiety you have to except it and battle it everyday. If you know someone who is suffering give them a call or a text you don't need to understand to support them. Anxiety is such a lonely illness so speak out and be proud of who you are. Please if you have any questions comment as I would happy to talk to you.
'Happiness isn't a destination it's an emotion'
Love to all,

The Magic of Make-up

Today I finally received my goodies from Collection and Essence.
Right now I'm a little obsessed with contouring and you can't really see the results in the picture which I apologise for but I really liked using these collection products. The highlighting stick was really light and bright on my skin so it look really subtle and natural. As I have quiet pale skin when using bronzer I make sure I brush a rosy blush on the Apple of my cheeks so it doesn't look too much like a dodgy tan. I would really recommend these products as they are long lasting and super easy to apply. When contouring your face make sure you know your face so you can highlight it best. Props to Collection!

When i think of lipliner i think the 90's so its hardly a surprise that I've never actually used lipliner or essence in fact so I thought I'd give them both a good. I remember my mum always telling me as a kid to never get lipliner darker than your actual lipstick and it get a lipliner one shade lighter than your lipstick so of course I listened. I was quite surprised with the results that the lipliner gave and made my lips look a bit more fuller. I really didn't wanna do a Kylie Jenner but I draw slightly over my lip line to create a bit more of an impact. I love it and will definitely keeping up with the lipliner and essence.

One coat || Three outfits || Look Three

How to layer up your outfit for the Winter.

Ok so my first tip would be to start with top that isn't too loud and match a pair of jeans with. Whatever jean that will suit your body shape. Layering can be tricking as you don't want to like like Joey when he puts all of Chandlers clothes on so I chose a cropped or use a belt to show off that figure.

When layering I love to use different textures and materials as if you use too many of the same it may look a bit too samey and boring. As I chose for darker colours underneath I then started to use lighter colours with blue shirt and pink jacket and thats what really pulls this outfit together.
The shoes I live for right now are these stunning chunky boots from Asos. Admittedly they look quite dangerous but they are so comfortable and aren't that high if you take the platform into consideration. I'm quite short at 5'5 and like I've said before I have quite chunky thighs so these are perfect to elongate and make you look more in proportion. Cannot live without these bad boys.

One coat || Three outfits || Look Two

So I thought I'd bring a bit of Spring/Summer back with this second outfit but with a Autumn/Winter twist. Colour blocking is a little easier with pastels as they are a lot more subtle and easy to match in a cute and edgy way.
I really love how the pretty lace finishing adds a clear block to the outfit especially with the acid wash jeans. I like to dress this lilac Miss Guided top with darker jeans as it adds more of a contrast but it also looks stunning with white jeans which would be great for an evening out.

These jeans are quiet thin but super super comfortable and so stretchy. I find they work with anything and it's not to not always wear black jeans.

Finally I topped this outfit off with my fave gold jewellery and of course this beautiful New Look Jacket.
Make sure you keep an eye out for my last look.

One coat || Three outfits || Look one

Monochrome madness is one of my favourite things right now but I wanted to put a twist on it with this pastel pink jacket. Once I saw that baby from New Look I knew I had to have, not only is it amazing for autumn/winter but its so so soft and fluffy. I feel like a big candyfloss and it's brilliant! ;D

I also added my fave statement necklace and shirt from Topshop, I love a good pattern and colour clash and this outfit has that written all over it...In a good way I hope :p I'm quiet conscious of my stomach but have a smaller waist so I like wear boxy crop tops as it shows of my waist but also my stomach so it's a bit of a catch 24 but to cover up a bit more I like to wear these high waisted skinnies from Asos which are really stretchy so I can still get blood to my legs ;)

❄Christmas Fever❄

It was only a matter of time when Christmas fever was going to hit me and today I am ashamed to say is that day.
I'm very partial to a cheesy Christmas jumper but theres something about the cut and pattern of this Asos jumper that brings it bang up to date and gives you a chance to maybe wear it other than Christmas day.

This outfit is admitibly very matchy-matchy but if you dare to I think it can be pulled off...I hope ;) The contrast and different tones of reds really pull the outfit together as colour matching is very in for Winter 2014. What more can I say it's daring, different and delightful haha.

These tartan leggings are my must have buy, they go with just about anything and can really make a statement. Unlike normal stretchy leggings are bit tighter round the legs (probably because of my thunder thighs but hey) and really suck you in but are really comfortable and soft.
And finally the pier de résistance; these amazing shoes from Fabric Boutique. Now these shoes crazy but they are soooo comfortable. The platform and hell is perfect for all day use and work with just about anything...except from the rain :p
