Red Suedette

So it's clearly no secret that I'm slightly in love with the 70's trend and I'm pretty sure most of my recent posts have started this way so I can only apologise for not showing much versitility but we're still on trend so it's all good. I'm so happy to add this beauty to my suede collection especially as it's so different. Mostly suede pieces are creams, browns and blacks so I guess for that reason alone I'm pretty in love with it. Adding a simple top underneath and chunky platform boots keeps this outfit super casual but it also has great potential to become a super edgy 'going out out' outfit with a pair of killer lace up heel/boots and leather jacket. Another awesome thing about this dress is the A line shape which is perfect for most shapes as if your smaller you will be enhanced but if your curvy like me it will fall over your curves perfectly. It's lightweight, detailed, bang on trend and a beautiful rich colour for Autumn.

Give it some Flare

I think it's safe to say that I am 100% obsessed with the 70's trend and what says 70's more than flared jeans. A lot of people tend to avoid flared jeans as they think they can be swamping but it's quite the opposite. Of course it would be fabulous but you don't need legs like Kendall Jenner or Lily Donaldson to pull the flares off. Carry on reading to see how any shape or size can pull off the flared look. Don't get me wrong I was very dubious about trying flares as I am only 5'5 but like I said above you don't need killer legs, just a pair of killer heels. I picked these beauties up from Glamourous  for £32 which I'd say is a pretty sweet deal as they are extremely versatile. Not only are these perfect for the Autumn and an awesome statement piece but they are stretchy (Love heart emoji) so still really comfortable when you've had one too many roast dinners.

My tips on how to wear flares:
  • Don't be afraid to turn the hem up on your flares so you can wear them with flats for an every day look.
  • Aim for a slim fit around the waist, hips and thighs with the flare splaying out from the knee.
  • If your petite then you will look best in bootcuts as large flares can overwhelm your frame.
  • If you carry your weight on your legs, bum or tum then wider flares are absolutely perfect for you.
Don't be afraid to step out in flares girls...it's just about finding the perfect ones for your shape.

All my love,
Over and out.
