It's a Sole Affair

 

Today's post is giving you a glimpse into my shoe wishlist from the fabulous company Sole Affair. All their shoes are absolutely stunning but I've linked all my wishes with shoes that are bang on trend for SS15 so you can be way ahead of the style stakes. So let's get down to business.

 

 Disco Platforms

For SS15 crazy towering heels are back, although I don't really know when they left. Platforms can be taken from day to night with platform boots during the day and these stunners for party time. Team with a cropped jacket, big hair and a whole lot of attitude for the ultimate night out also lace up heels are rocking the catwalk so these stunners kill two birds and all that.

Gladiator
Gladiator type shoes are always perfect for Spring/Summer every year but these beauties take it to another level with the statement straps and buckles. Gladiator Shoes, heels, wedges, sandals and knee high straps have been seen all over the catwalk for SS15. These can be matched with just about everything as the holographic material will reflect every colour which I love.

Animal skin
For me animal skin is very easy to get wrong as you don't want people screaming Pat Butcher at you but these make a real elegant fashion statement. I also love how these booties can be brought from day to night with a suit trouser during the day and a LBD for the evening.

Square heel
Forget tiny little stilettoes... the heels for spring are the supportive square/block heel. Now when I think of 'comfy' shoes I think grandma slippers but fear not Sole Affair have twisted comfort and charm into one. I love how cute these heels are but I have to day it was the fluffy quirkiness I fell for.

Shimmer
As I said before with the gladiator shoes, the shimmery material is so perfect for any outfit but these sandals are more than ideal for Spring/Summer with there luxurious and blinding material. This year the shimmer isn't about the glitter glam so make sure you stick to the material and get your shimmer on girls.

Powerful point

I don't think the classic point will ever be wrong, as long as you get it right. I love how elegant, sexy and classy these ankle boots are and I have to admit they are at the top of my wishlist.

St.Kitts Herbery

As Valentine's day edges ever closer, I thought it would be the perfect chance to let you into the beautiful world of St.Kitts Herbery. Once out of the bath I then used the body lotion for an extra bit of calm. The herbs really compliment each other and I've used it every day since it was delivered. My new found love.

Dear Diary...

15th January

Today is the day I've gone to visit my boyfriend at his uni house and my and Anxiety and Panic attacks certainly weren't holding back and I wasn't prepared for that. We left my house after hours and hours of me procrastinating; I didn't want to go because I didn't want to panic but I wanted to go for Chris (My boyfriend). From my house to Portsmouth in the car takes a good hour without traffic. So off we went, my heart beating like the clappers, not being able to engage in a conversation or even smile. The panic had drained every inch of my being and I felt so sick! When I'm nervous I tend to need the toilet very urgently and the fact that I wasn't going have a toliet next me made it even worse. In those situations I feel sick...I panic about feeling sick...I think I'm going to be sick...I panic I might be sick and it goes round and round in a big circle until you get to the full blown panic attack. Anyway we're probably about 1/4 of the way there and traffic starts to build up...that is one word I cannot stand *TRAFFIC* it actually makes me panic just thinking about it! Panic is something you can't control so when you can't control this massive this in your life you tend to (well I do) try and make myself in control of everything else which is why I can't deal with traffic; I can't control what might happen or be able to determine how far the toilets are away and it also makes me feel very claustrophobic and then the 'What ifs' start. We must have stopped at least 5 times so I could rush to the loo, with my heart pounding, feeling sick, sweating, feeling everyone is looking at me and my all time favourite the shakes and tears (NOT). "Shall I take you home?" Chris says. I never want to let anyone down so even though I wanted the ground to swallow me up, I had to power on. So while blasting Mcfly out on the speakers and playing the number plate game I got there in one piece. There was no backing out.

16th January

I did it! I am absolutely exhausted and got no sleep but I did it. When I'm in a new place, panic doesn't let you rest and I was on edge the whole time and panicing about every pain and wave of anxiety I had. Not even a fix of Sex and the City could relax me but I did it.

I wanted to show you guys how I feel when I have to do something new, to help others either relate or understand. I hope what you guys can take from this is to over come your fears however painful it is, afterwards you will feel absolutely over the moon whether you suffer with anxiety or not. Stay strong and always give your best as thats all you can do for yourself.

Perfectly Priced Perfume

So I'm going to put my neck on the line and say I'm not the only one that thinks perfumes are super over priced and never last long enough. With this in mind I've put a few smellies together for you that are all under £25. They are all tried and test by yours truly so let's get started.

At only £14 this floral perfume is the cheapest out of all my choices but it's by no means least a joke. I've used this fresh green floral fragrance from Next for years now and its never let me down. The soft fruits and pink bloom scent that comes through is so freshing yet sweet and is a perfect day perfume. Cheap and cheerful but Next make it super sophisticated.

Secondly we have one of my new favourites, Calvin Klein In2u Her. I was first introduced to this by a friend a few weeks before Christmas, when I first smelt this I actually thought it was a men's aftershave as it's quite strong and masculine but still a really sexy fragrance at the same time. Not only does this last all day (no exaggeration) but it's only £19.99 for this uber massive bottle. Calvin Klein also do a men version (In2u Him) which is just as nice for the men in your life. I brought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and it's a really nice woody aftershave. And yes that does mean we have matching perfumes...is that sad? Hehe.

Ok so this is the highest priced perfumes but totally worth the investment. Admittedly the price tag is a bit steep at £22.99 for the 50m size but I feel under the spell of "Limited edition". Again I've used Paco Rabanne Black Xs for a while now but fancied a change and it didn't disappoint; your able to smell hints of Grapefruit, Sandalwood and Amber which blend together to create this sensual embrace all over your body.

If your not into the expense of perfumes or simply just don't like using them then I have a super cheap and easy alternative for you. If you've read my blog before then you'll know that recently I fallen head over heels for Soap and Glory products (I'm sure like every other girl) from soap to lipgloss to creams. But today it's this flirty, floral body mist. Instead of carrying around a big perfume bottle with you I like to carry this spray with me as it's so fresh and lasts a really long time. This bad boy is only £6.50 and is a whopping 250ml so you really can't go wrong with this.

Turn your day wear into play wear

Hello my lovely readers, sorry I haven't blogged for a while but we have these beauties for you to get back into it. I love to create day too night outfits as not only is it a money saver but it's fun to say how you dress up a day outfit. I finally got my hands on a turtle neck jumper and it's safe to say; I'm in love. This jumper is perfect for this time of year with the neutral plus it's not too thick so you can wear a jacket over the top and not look like the Michelin man ;). I feel like my style is a little confused at the moment as I just love everything but I really like the Chic edge this out fit has with the pointed boots, chunky knit and dark skinnies paired with classic and simple rings from AllOrNada; check their beautiful site out now (well once you've finished this of course).

When creating a day to night outfit to really make that night outfit pop, it's all about the accessories. Earrings are a really easy piece to turn a casual outfit into a night out on the town look. So to turn this outfit from Class to Sass all I did was add a killer pair of heels, leather skirt and cute little clutch. The bold leather skirt makes this look super edgy but the A line shape keeps it still Chic and classy.
